About
I am an experienced postnatal doula and infant feeding counselor, offering one to one postnatal and infant feeding support in your home and a series of workshop sessions which can be arranged individually or with a group of friends.
So much emphasis is placed on birth, which although a great thing, can leave the time after having a baby not really thought about. Creating a mother and babymoon can help you recuperate after your birth, bond with your baby and create a positive transition to motherhood that will last for many years and even strengthen your sense of worth and identity.
Providing practical, emotional and babycare support, I can provide much needed postnatal recovery time with superb nutrition, household management, guidance and a listening ear for both you and your partner.
I also offer fertility and preparing for pregnancy support, helping you explore natural options for conception and exploring all the offerings available to you. With so many services out there, it can feel overwhelming knowing which path to follow. I can help you navigate a route that feels right for you, giving you ideas from personal knowledge and training - and signpost you to effective practices.
In addition, I offer a restful room in my home for mothers with newborns who would like doula guidance and mothers who would like a good night’s sleep without their babies or toddlers. I will run you a bath with candles and bath salts. I can cook you an evening meal for an extra charge. Any sessions can be tagged onto your ‘retreat’ and ‘recharge’ stay.
The Mother Space – Midhurst is a free support group I host (part of the mother space groups nationwide), based in Easebourne, which gives support to mothers with babies under 9 months and has evening meet-ups called blissful balance for all mothers with children living at home.
