Hello! my name is Stephanie, and I am a physiotherapist with a unique whole-body approach. I specialise in pregnancy & postnatal rehabilitation and have been trained by some of the best professionals in the field. As a mother, I love working with other mums to regain their natural, pre-baby strength, endurance, and form.
Before qualifying as a Physiotherapist, I worked in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I'm also skilled in various massage therapies. Now, I use my holistic background in conjunction with the more scientific methods of physiotherapy to provide comprehensive treatment for my clients.
While the COVID-19 pandemic has forced us all to make adjustments, I'm still here to help. I now offer my services virtually, too, so that I can help people anywhere and everywhere. I look forward to meeting with you and getting you on the road to recovery!j

MUMMY MOT ® - POSTNATAL PHYSIOTHERAPY
Mummy MOT® is postnatal physiotherapy for women following both vaginal and C-section deliveries. I will assess how your posture, pelvic floor and stomach muscles are recovering, and create a bespoke treatment plan to rehabilitate anything that needs a little extra help.
Why should you have a Mummy MOT®?
Carrying and giving birth to a baby is an amazing achievement! However, it does take its toll on the body. The changes we go through during pregnancy can leave a lasting physical impact if not addressed. You can do so much to address those postnatal concerns and prevent other issues from arising. I can help you heal your diastasis, stop the bladder leaking, get your core and posture strong again.
When should you have it?
The ideal time to have a Mummy MOT® checkup is around 6-12 weeks postpartum. However, It's never too late to work on restoring your body, and so it is still helpful to come for your Mummy MOT® even if you had your baby years ago.
How I will help you stay on track
Getting overwhelmed is a common reason people give up on rehab when they still have so much healing potential. Being a busy mum myself, I understand the challenges of fitting physiotherapy exercises into your day. I will work with you to balance what you need to do to fit around your other activities.
A dedicated practice may take less than 15 minutes per day. I can also incorporate your usual daily activities, turning simple tasks such as washing your hair or pushing your baby buggy, into opportunities to work on strength and conditioning. To help you remember how to do your exercises, I will make sure you have clear instructions and videos to follow at home.

During pregnancy our bodies go through rapid change as we make space for our babies to grow. I understand how to assess and treat you with adaptions that respect the natural changes your body needs to make in pregnancy.
When is a good time to have a pregnancy MOT?
Even if you feel great, a physio checkup will help you learn about your changing body and optimise your core, pelvic floor, and posture to keep you functioning well. If you are experiencing some issues, I can help ease your symptoms with massage and targeted exercises.

Maintaining pregnatal musculoskeletal wellness
COST : 75
This is a treat for expectant mums that can be enjoyed after the first trimester. It is beneficial for back and pelvic girdle pain. It is also a great way to maintain musculoskeletal wellness during pregnancy. Pregnancy massage is typically performed in a side-lying position. However, if you would like to get some pregnancy-safe belly down-time during your treatment, I have a special Bellost® bolster that will allow you to lay face down.
COST : 65-90
This massage treatment will release the muscular tension associated with the physical impact of being a new mum. It can also help with mobilising C-section scar tissue. A postnatal massage is a great opportunity for you to get some downtime and self-care. Your session will work on restoring mind-body balance. You can relax to some soft music or even take a nap if you want.
COST : 65-90
