I specialise in working with women who have had years of yo-yo dieting without success, who want to feel good about themselves and start living life to the full again. Often, my clients are approaching the menopause and are finding managing their weight even more difficult to manage but combine this with the onset of symptoms such as disrupted sleep, mood swings, hot flushes, joint pain & brain fog, their goal seems even further off in the distance.
This is where I come in.
It’s not the case of calories in vs calories out anymore, in your 20’s you may have been able to cut a few things out and lose a bit of weight but not now. Changes to your hormones and simply how our bodies alter as we get older mean we need to eat differently. I can show you how to do this in small, easy to manage steps.
Through my work I have found that it’s not just about food, it’s also about BEHAVIOUR CHANGE. Guided by you, I will help you form new positive habits that fit into your lifestyle so that change feels easy. By helping you feel successful this will empower you to make greater change.
My aim is to bring back the joy and pleasure in eating, to help you nourish and love your body again whilst helping you to lose weight and keep it off for good.

You are welcome to visit me at my office in Brightlingsea near Colchester. If you are anywhere else in the world we can meet virtually via Zoom, so your location is no barrier. You are welcome to book consultations as one off appointments but I find my clients have much more success when they work with me on a more regular basis, so as a minimum I recommend booking a course of three sessions to help you towards your goals. My aim will be to build your knowledge and confidence so you can see results and make changes that will last a lifetime.
COST : £40 per session. £100 for a block of three.
Nutrition for Menopause Workshop
Learn how diet and lifestyle can support you naturally through your menopause journey.
An informal and relaxed evening to learn how you can support yourself naturally during this transition, whether you’re in the peri-menopause, menopause or post menopausal time of your life.
We will discuss which foods can help alleviate the symptoms like hot flushes, night sweats, insomnia and anxiety and discuss how you can support your long-term health paying particular attention to which nutrients are needed to protect our bones and hearts.
The workshop will consist of a presentation, followed by time for you to ask any questions you have and leave better informed about how to manage your own menopause, so in the long run you can have a better quality of life… and maybe have some cake at the same time.
