Sally and Charlotte are babywearing educators and both mums of two.
In 2015, having been running an NCT sling library for some time, they created East Surrey Slings, a consultancy which provides carrying support to parents across East Surrey.
Sally has trained as a carrying consultant with Slingababy in 2015 and L'Ecole a Porter (the education arm of the French sling company Je Porte Mon Bebe) in 2018.
Charlotte has also trained as a carrying consultant with Slingababy (2016) and L'Ecole a Porter (2018) having first trained with School Of Babywearing in 2013.
Both Sally and Charlotte attend regular CPD and update sessions which have covered such topics as accessibility, alignment, rebozo work and mental health.
121 Sling Session
We can provide help with all aspects of carrying. These are examples of some of the ways we work with clients:
- antenatal planning: overview of carriers and identifying what could work for you
- newborn carrying including prematurity
- carrying twins and tandem carrying
- carrying with medical needs
- carrying toddlers and older children
- learning new skills such as using a woven wrap or back carrying
A 90 minute session at your home.
COST : £45
Bespoke group workshops
We can cover whatever you like, as long as all members of the group need similar help- e.g. all carrying newborns/bumps, all looking for an introduction to different carrier types or all wanting to learn about woven wraps.
Unfortunately it isn’t possible to fully tailor the session to each member, so we can’t combine newborn stretchy wraps with toddler back carries!
COST : From £25pp.
Drop in's and clinics
