The therapy I offer
I have trained with Paul McKenna, Richard Bandler (Co Creator of NLP) and Roger Callahan (Creator of TFT Thought Field Therapy) and as a Humanistic Counsellor.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is the practice of understanding how people organise their thinking, feeling, language and behaviour to produce the results they do. NLP provides people with a methodology to model outstanding performances achieved by geniuses and leaders in their field.
Thought Field Therapy (TFT) is a fringe psychological treatment developed by an American psychologist, Roger Callahan. Its proponents say that it can heal a variety of mental and physical ailments through specialized "tapping" with the fingers at meridian points on the upper body and hands. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a psycho-social intervention that aims to improve mental health. CBT focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems. Cognitive behavioural therapy can help you make sense of overwhelming problems by breaking them down into smaller parts.
Humanistic Therapy is a mental health approach that emphasizes the importance of being your true self in order to lead the most fulfilling life. ... Humanistic therapy also involves a core belief that people are good at heart and capable of making the right choices for themselves.
This integrative mix of therapy is very effective at giving you the tools to overcome anxiety and stress to manage your response to these feelings.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions will last for 50 minutes. These are usually weekly. I can see you face to face, on-line via zoom or we can have a ‘walk and talk’ session.
A safe space for you
I will create a safe, open and non-judgemental space for you. Our sessions are held in comfortable and private rooms and are strictly confidential.
I also offer a walk and talk therapy in the surrey hills for those who prefer to be in nature.
I practise from my office deep in the heart of the Surrey Hills in the village of Shere.
A person-centred therapist creates a safe, respectful, accepting and honest space for you, allowing you to relax and uncover the inner resources you had all along.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Menopause Symptoms and one to one sessions
This course will equip menopausal women with self-management skills to facilitate coping and reduce psychological distress commonly associated with hot flushes, night sweats and other menopausal symptoms.
These sessions will be run in small groups in lovely settings within Surrey.
