I’m Adanna: lover of words, champion of women supporting each other, mum to two wonderful, high-energy little girls (aged 2 & 6).
I am a women’s creativity and wellbeing coach and mentor. I specialise in using creative writing to explore identity, personal voice and connection to self and others.
My passion is supporting you with the time, space and tools to reconnect with your core self, reclaiming and rewriting the narrative of your life in your own words and on your own terms, so that you can move forward with more peace, power and joy.
The pressures of modern-day womanhood and motherhood are intense, paradoxical and seem set up to hurl us towards burnout. Consciously taking time and space to slow down - remembering who YOU are outside of all the hats you wear and the responsibilities you shoulder - enables you to return to those roles feeling more grounded, clearer, confident and nourished, in a way that allows you to give to others without completely losing or depleting yourself.
My writing courses offer a creative space to honestly explore and express the realities of what it means to be a woman, the complexity of your identity, the power of your personal voice and how to maintain a strong sense of yourself - all done in a way that is practical, therapeutic, enjoyable and liberating.

Online Group Course for Maternal Wellbeing
A rare and affirming chance to explore your identity within and outside your role as a mum, alongside women on the same rollercoaster ride as you.
This 6-week online course explores themes of Identity, Personal Voice and Connection to yourself and others.
There are a range of creative, reflective and expressive writing exercises that boost wellbeing, confidence and happiness. A choice of tasks allows for personal preference as well as time (we all some weeks when we are busier than others, where a shorter but still powerful task is a better option).
The course can be done by anyone - no previous experience of writing is required.
Groups are deliberately small (6-8) for a sense of confidentiality, community and support.

Face-to-Face Workshops for Mums
Relaxed, baby-friendly workshops run from my home in South West London (SW16).
A rare chance to do a class that’s for the mums rather than the babies!
We focus on discussing and writing about MATRESCENCE - the psychological process of becoming a mum - what this means for you and how to maintain a sense of who you are in all of this.
Workshops run for 2 hours with tea and biscuits/cake included, lots of buggy space in the garden, and toys available for little ones.
Perfect for maternity leave or early motherhood, but open to all mums who want to explore this area.
Small groups only - max of 6.
